It is my great honor to share HEIDI MORGAN PHOTOGRAPHY and this blog with you. This has been a long time in coming, with so many arms wrapped around my circle of support. Life is safe only for so long and then you gotta fly! You’ve heard of lightbulb moments, yes? Well, I call them “ringtones” and I had one just today. The weather was beautiful — I’m talking sunroof open and window down beautiful — and I was making sure that my long to-do list was addressed. I turned satellite radio on to chase away the racing thoughts of all the must do’s and heard the voice! I still don’t know the channel or who it was. But she said…

Limitations are alarm clocks. To me, this means that road blocks are calls to action. It’s never clear what must be done, only that there are choices to be made. Today, my alarm clocks consist of long lists, of little birdies called children — all with open mouths. You get my drift. But more powerful than these are the opportunities for change that lie ahead. This, to me, is what destination HEIDI MORGAN PHOTOGRAPHY is about. Opportunity, vision, and creativity. I believe that I bring these qualities to life — therefore to marriage, mothering, and even photography. You get all of me, if you like.
