I DO want to blog each wedding, and do it immediately after shooting. As Sunder’s bride, I certainly hoped to see my images immediately.
I DO NOT currently blog every wedding that I photograph. The bride below is an example of one such wedding. You see, I shoot many more than just Heidi Morgan Photography brides. Preparation met opportunity (hence, my great fortune) years ago and I have been repeatedly invited by great photographers (Bob and Dawn Davis, Christine Bentley, Claire Morgan, and Aida Krgin, to name a few) to shoot by their side. You see, photography is an extension of me — it’s what I dream, breathe, and think of nearly 24 hours per day. It is not a career, nor a profession — it just is. As my dear friend Jeff Jochum might say, capturing moments is in my connective tissue!
Check out a magic moment from a wedding that I second shot for Bob and Dawn Davis at the Standard Club in Chicago earlier this year. Thanks for the honor, and for allowing me to use this photo:
I play, and I learn, on my own time — not my brides’. Stay tuned!
This photo is straight out of a magazine… her dress…her pose…the lighting love it all
